invenzioni o tendenze. Sono scatti sinceri presi in prestito. Fugaci, timidi, isolati, silenziosi senza la pretesa del fotografo. Toy-camera, le chiamano. Facciamo finta un gioco! Non esiste niente. Nemmeno i fotografi. Lo-fi e ti diverti. Viva la vita!

FRANCESCO ROMANELLI
PROGETTO TOPPUNT
è un progetto di ricerca ideato e realizzato dagli artisti Giulia Gazza e Francesco Romanelli. Nato nel 2015 il progetto è animato dalla volontà di mettere in connessione persone (artisti e non) con il luogo (domestico), cercando di attivare interpretazioni dello spazio in relazione alle esperienze personali e intime delle persone che lo abitano. Il rapporto tra il luogo e lo spazio risulta essere il fulcro della ricerca. Da un lato la stabilità del luogo (in questo caso la veranda, ma in un futuro, chissà?), con configurazioni significanti stabilite, sedimentate dalla tradizione e dal linguaggio e dall'altro la mobilità e il cambiamento che inequivocabilmente caratterizzano lo spazio. Riuscire a coniugare, in uno stesso ambiente, la dimensione del luogo ospitante e il luogo "praticato", dunque lo spazio, offre sperimentazioni creative per ripensare il rapporto tra media, luoghi e soggetti. Come? Attraverso micro-visioni temporanee progettate ad hoc per lo spazio indicato (nel primo anno di attività è stata una struttura in legno progettata dagli ideatori, attualmente una teca sacra di fine ottocento), ripensato e riprogettato di volta in volta, creando un ambiente in cui il pensiero dinamico, la mobilità di spirito e la condivisione attiva di un tempo/spazio sono alla base del procedere organico e spontaneo di questo progetto artistico.
Perchè TOPPUNT? Il termine preso in prestito dall'olandese, significa nella sua più immediata traduzione “momento di culmine”, ponendo pertanto la micro-visione non solo con l'accezione di momento culminante per la specifica opera esposta (la mostra), ma anche come momento di più alta condivisione. PROGETTO TOPPUNT non è acme finale dunque, ma punto di massima apertura.
PROGETTO TOPPUNT
is a research project conceived and created by the artists Giulia Gazza and Francesco Romanelli. The project (born in 2015), is inspired by the will to connecting people (whether artists or not) sharing the same place (an house), trying to turn on interpretations of this space in relation to personal and intimate experiences of the guests. The relationship between place and space appears to be the focus of this research. On one hand there is the stability of a place (the veranda in this case, but in the future who knows?), with its significant configurations fixed and settled by the tradition and the language.
On the other hand there is the flexibility and the changing unequivocally characterizing the space.
To be able to combine (in the same environment) the hosting place dimension with the "performing" space, offers creative experimentations opening a reconsideration about the relationship between media, spaces and subjects.
How? Through temporary micro-visions ad-hoc designed for the specified space (in its first year of the operation it was a wooden structure designed by the PROGETTO TOPPUNT creators and currently a sacred case of the late nineteenth century), rethought and redesigned from time to time, creating an environment in which the dynamic thinking, the spirit dynamism and the functional sharing of time/space are at the basis of the organic and spontaneous proceeding of this art project.
Why TOPPUNT? The term borrowed from the Dutch, it means in its most simple translation "moment on climax", therefore, that means not only putting the specific work on display in its peak of maximum, but also watching the micro-vision itself as the moment of maximum level of sharing. Hence, PROGETTO TOPPUNT becomes not a conclusive acme, but the point of maximum opening.
